Plans have been finalized for the Steve Lambert
Memorial Tournament. Express General Manager Ray Arnott
stated "The tournament is shaping up to be a great weekend of hockey that Steve would have loved to be a part of." The tournament date has been set for the weekend of September 22 and 23. A maximum of 12 participating teams will play 6 qualifying games. Following the qualifying rounds, teams will be seated in 3 groups of 4, and will play single elimination in their division for 1 of 3 championships to be awarded. "This format will allow for every team to have a fair shot at a championship, regardless of their level of play", Arnott said.
To register your team for the tournament:
1. The registration fee is $270/team. We will accept TEAM registrations only, and the payment must be made in full prior to the tournament. Groton Parks and Recreation will accept the payment online or by check mailed to their main office. A separate link will be provided once it has been set up on their website.
2. Click the link below and complete the registration form, print it, and mail it to the address provided on the form.
3. The first 12 completed forms received that can be verified as paid through GPR will be accepted.
